If you had to found a museum, what would it be about?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 30, 2009:
One of my favorite museum ideas is a place that both explained quantum physics in a fun way as done by Fred Alan Wolf and ?Tobin in their book, Space Time, and Beyond, AND explained the physical energetic systems of people, plants, animals etc.. along the lines of Cyndi Dale's Sublte Body book.
The concepts would be explained and where possible, demonstrated as they are in most science museums - only this one would have exhibits like highly calibrated aura cameras, the ones that are computerized and show chakra strength, etc. (they exist now)
It would help people grasp how gossamer thin reality really is, how everything is energy shifting to matter and back.
A girl can dream.....

okay, I get the reality part of this (it really is thinner than light itself) but you can only have this museum if you promise that I will truly understand quantum physics after I visit …
Barbara,
If you try the book I referenced, Space Time and Beyond, you will be amused and amazed. It is a picture book for adults (and maybe teens) about the main topics in quantum physics. If something interests you, it points you to more difficult reading on the topic.
Also THE COSMIC CODE QUANTUM PHYSICS AS THE LANGUAGE OF NATURE (not shouting - just cut/pasting) by Heinz Pagels is a good follow-up to the first book. A little more dry after the pictures, but very clear and direct.
The sad part is that both books are currently out-of-print and may take some looking for. Amazon does have copies- you could also try www.half.com and www.alibris.com
I sincerely hope these books will tide you over until my museum gets built! (wink!)

Well, I like looking at pictures, especially of things I can't see, I'm game to go. I'll have to go with Barbara though, she can explain it to me.
