What's the most fortunate thing you've had happen to you?
After intense prayer, strong intentioning, affirmations, incense for Ganesh, 4 different companies interviewing me, I still didn't know where I would be driving the next day when my lease ended.
I had done everything I could. It was up to the "All that is" to point me in a direction.
So I was packing my car and a friend was packing her car with stuff I'd pick up later.
I had no reason to stay in the city I'd been working in. I was ineligible for unemployment, having been too unemployed too long, and re-employed as a contractor not long enough.
So we were packing and cleaning, and letting go and letting G*d.
We were nearly finished.
It was around 6-6:30PM.
I got a call from one of the recruiters.
The recruiter was at dinner, but had heard from the client and knew I was waiting on the news.
I had a job, and the client insisted on paying a higher rate than originally discussed so that I'd be more likely to accept and stay.
I was so relieved I cried as I accepted the job.
I now knew where I was going tomorrow.

Help

Very, very cool! Thank you for posting this.
Why do we ever doubt?? I've been exploring the question
“What if everything is answered prayer?”
We really are safe in a universe of benevolence and meaning.
Just wish I could always remember:-)
I truly believe that a big chunk of what attracted that “fortune” was my deep unrelenting belief that I HAD A JOB and Universe/AllThat Is was going to let me know which one at the right time.
There's prayer of asking and there's prayer of gratitude. Gratitude is ultimately more powerful.

I absolutely agree…that has also been my experience.
