As long as a return trip was guaranteed, I'd like to visit the bedside of a dear friend who's in the hospital.

I equate healing place with quiet and stress-free places.
I'd recommend Little St.Simon's Island, Western North Carolina (including Asheville,as well as non-touristy areas of Jamaica, near Ocho Rios. Other folks I know swear by Bali and Hawaii.

One of my favorite museum ideas is a place that both explained quantum physics in a fun way as done by Fred Alan Wolf and ?Tobin in their book, Space Time, and Beyond, AND explained the physical energetic systems of people, plants, animals etc.. along the lines of Cyndi Dale's Sublte Body book.
The concepts would be explained and where possible, demonstrated as they are in most science museums - only this one would have exhibits like highly calibrated aura cameras, the ones that are computerized and show chakra strength, etc. (they exist now)
It would help people grasp how gossamer thin reality really is, how everything is energy shifting to matter and back.
A girl can dream.....

Sunny!
I have a new job in another state that I'm starting next week. I'm very excited and happy to have a new contract to do the project management work that I love doing.
(The actual outside weather is overcast, humid, probably going to rain)

1) Do you drink bottled or filtered water?
I drink Volvic or San Pellegrino mineral water on ocassion, and filtered water at home. I also drink canned LaCroix citrus flavored sparkling water as a substitute for sodas. I realised it was the fizzy I liked more than the sweet.
2) Have you ever used solar power? (for a calculator, your house, in a place you visited?) Yes, always in calculator. Once for a fountain at my house. I live in an apartment ,now, so not much opportunity to do solar.
3) Do you ever worry about polar bears?
I say planetary prayers, and they're included with everyone else here.
4) Have you ever seen or been impacted by extreme weather? (hurricane, flood, drought, typhoon, tornado, wildfire or freeze?)
1 Earthquake + aftershocks, 2 Direct hurricanes, several indirect effects of hurricanes, not sure how many.
5) Do you like to recycle, save water or energy, compost, turn off the lights, etc.?
For the most part, I do what I can to live lightly.

breathe deeply, center myself in the present moment, remind myself it is my choice how to react now. Remind myself that I am love; I am peace, I am at ease.

1) Do you prefer country, city or suburban living?
I've done some of each and it's not where you are, but what you bring to it. Happiness is anywhere.
2) Do you like to grow plants?
Yes.
3) Have you ever had or do you want children?
No. It has never been something I needed to do. I am very creative in other ways.

My deep internal strength
5) Do you ever meditate or follow the breathe that gives you life? Let's do it all now together! (inhale, ahhh, exhale :)

Magnolias, oaks, and pine trees glistening from the rain out my office window. My sweet cats sleeping. The little crystals, rocks and stuff that I keep around to remind me to ground better. The beauty inherent in the interconnectivity of everything that has to happen so that I have papers, magazines, a cup of coffee, a working phone, computer, lights, A/C, etc.
No matter how "immediate" our surroundings are, we are always surrounded by a beautiful vast sea of seen and un-seen inter-dependant interconnectivity that most folks don't account for in their "immediate" perceptions.
One of the things I learned along the way, was to be grateful for everything, and when I pray my gratitude I send it out through to all elements in that vast sea of interconnectedness that brought everything for which I am grateful to me.
